Welcome to the website of Toad Hall
Shillingstone, Dorset

back of house

We opened our garden under the National Gardens Scheme from 2001 until 2008 and during those years we opened on 22 occasions and raised just over £7,000 for the NGS.  Our thanks to all our helpers over the years and especially to the visitors who made it so worthwhile.

Although we will no longer be opening under the National Gardens Scheme we will be opening for village events and also for private visits by prior arrangement (telephone 01258 861941).

Will visitors please note that there is NO PARKING available at the house. We are only about 50 yards south of the A357 down a narrow lane opposite the Old Cross, near Church Road.
(for a map go to location map.)

The ONLY exception we can make is for disabled visitors STRICTLY by prior arrangement (telephone 01258 861941).
